It's been a couple of weeks since I was there, but I found the food to be mediocre at best, the buffet items cold, and frankly the price of the food overpriced. There really is nothing special about Club Meade. And while I'm sure it is open to all servicemen, only the officers, or those retired with their AARP can afford it. My last visit came to nearly $30 for food on par with Waffle House or Deny's. Chicken that was made from rib meat, and cold salmon didn't help my disposition on this place either. The only thing keeping me from one starring this place is the fact that parking was ample, and the fact that the Mater-D wore a bow-tie that day. Wal*Mart quality at Sach's prices.

If you get invited to an event at Club Meade, you can expect a $25 buffet to offer impressive bright green beans and yummy carrots. I throughly enjoyed the steamed vegetables. Then there's the normal salad (still fresh even for ice berg lettuce), rolls, and grab your dessert with dinner otherwise you won't get your first or second choice. I think they can afford to upgrade their desserts. If you get meatballs on the serving line then it's your lucky night. Those are tender and tasty. I usually bypass or grab just a bite of the cordon bleu stuffed chicken that's a little on the dry side and the stuffed pasta shells (not a big fan of that much pasta and cheese). All in all, the meal is better than I expected. I would not choose this venue for a personal party or booking. The interior is older but they are working on a chopped budget so I'm surprised they're even open. I just go when we have a dinner here for work. The service is decent and I like how they bring the coffee out before dinner is even over so we don't have to wait very long to enjoy our desserts.

Time to step it up here or close it down. The standard lunch buffet is disappointing at best. Very bland food for an inflated price. One star. I'm only giving them two stars because they recently did a father/daughter ball that was very nice. Well put together, fun, decent chow, and a good night of entertainment and dinner for $35/each. Very nice and I didn't see anyone in the packed crowd who had a bad time. More events like that and I'll be back. Lunch? Scrap the lunch manager.

For me the Italian Buffet on Tuesday represented one of the worst meal at a military facility in sometime. The tomato sauce had a familiar but unpleasant taste. Only after some thinking did I remember the taste of Chef Boyardee's Spaghetti Os. I recommend visiting the food court at the PX or Burglar King before eating here. The best part of the meal? Leaving!

This review is for the Wednesday "Country" Buffet. I had no choice but to eat here on Wednesday due to a lunch meeting. Cost $8.25 Selection - Salad Bar - I should have gotten the salad! Clam Chowder - it was ok Dessert - I had something that was a bread pudding but was down right disgusting Main course they had were fried chicken (dry), ribs (ok), fish (skipped it) and some country gravy meat thing that I didn't dare to touch. Fixings - corn, mac n cheese (edible), watered down mashed taters, I skipped the greens looking thing. Overall, this place needs help with there buffet spread!

**Latin Night Review** Club Meade serves buffet style food for servicemen and their family regardless of rank. However, once a month it is the spot for "Latin Night!" Anyone of legal age on Ft. Meade can get their Salsa on! To provide a more enjoyable experience the club should provide a few essential amenities. For example, where's the air conditioning? Perhaps it was turned off or broken. Regardless the environment felt like the Amazon jungle as it was HELLA HOT! I guarantee folks can sweat off a few pounds dancing the night away at Club Meade. The drink service was somewhat comical as no one was at the bar for 10 minutes. I guess the bartender had to make a beer run to the Shopette. Once we ordered our 8 drinks it took a bit longer than usual for the bartender to calculate our bill. Perhaps the cash registered was also broken. Despite the bare essentials missing there were positive moments at Club Meade. 1. The DJ spun some hip hop and go-go music. 2. Diverse crowd of different ages, rank, and ethnicity. 3. Safe environment with no drunks or fights. 4. Guy to girl ratio of 1 to 1 as I counted 10 guys and 10 girls at midnight. 5. Free cover. 6. Cheap drinks ($3 beers, $5 cocktails). 7. Plenty of free parking. If I had to do it again, which I plan to, I would arrive early at the club rather than later. It seemed the crowd was leaving around midnight. I believe in Club Meade!

This place should not serve food. I walked in and walked right out. The smell was just horrible. The decore was that out of the early 60's and the food was straight from the Chow hall that is feed to the troops in school. The buffet looked dried out and disgusting. It was Italian day and the food just looked like it was ready to be in the garbage. As I walked out quickly the hostes tried to offer me a menu and I declined stating that if the food looks that bad on the line I don't want to image what it will look like on my plate. Plus I couldn't get over the smell.
